LEADERSHIP

Jonathan Trotter
Founder / Executive Director
Jonathan is the founder of Talos Global Initiative. Over the last fifteen years he has worked as a Security Advisor, Executive Protection Specialist, and Gang Expert for clients across multiple industries. In 2010 he served as an advisor on the FBI Human Trafficking Rapid Response Joint Task Force. He also worked in the non-profit sector as a liaison between local and federal law enforcement and community outreach programs. He created a community program that resulted in a reduced recidivism rate of eighty-five percent in the cases of more than one thousand active gang members over the course of three years. He has worked in executive protection for clients across multiple industries including government, entertainment, and religion. In 2023 he published “Take Back Control," a book and audio course that systematically details personal security and and defense strategies to aid women in the fight against abuse and violence. He has a B.A. Spanish Language and Literature from North Carolina State University with post graduate studies in counterterrorism and intelligence. He currently resides in the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina.

Instructor
S.G. served in the 75th Ranger Regiment, 3rd Battalion during the Global War on Terror with deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. He has worked as a security advisor and executive protection specialist, and is an instructor for TGI. *Due to operational security profile photo is hidden.

A.J.*
Instructor
A.J. is a Law Enforcement Officer with over ten years experience, the last six working in S.W.A.T. He is a defensive tactics instructor and contracts with TGI. *Due to operational security profile photo is hidden.

Joe Trotter
Advisor / Board Member
Joe Trotter is an Advisor and Board Member for TGI. He is also the Founder and President of Rooted In Love, a non-profit organization that is dedicated providing seniors and caretakers with plants. He is retired from Forsyth Country Day School where for twenty years he taught physics, developed a three-year engineering program, and served as the chair of the Science Department. He is a past recipient of the Jones Faculty Award which honors the teacher who embodies the highest ideals of the teaching profession. He is also a professional K-9 dog trainer having competed in the Schutzhund National Championships and has set multiple records for high in trial. He graduated with honors from North Carolina State University, earning a degree in science and math education with a specialization in physics. He also completed an AS degree in electronic engineering technology from Forsyth Technical College. Joe taught physics and math at North Forsyth High School before going into the business world, working as an electronics and Robotics Instructor and Electronics Technician at R.J. Reynolds Tobacco. Joe returned to education at West Forsyth High School, then joined the FCDS faculty in 2004. He retired from teaching in 2024 and now dedicates his time to running his non-profit organization as well as training dogs.

Jennifer Nenadič
Senior Tech Admin
Jennifer serves as the Senior Technical Admin at TGI. She is the former Director of Data and Analytics Center at SAS. With a background in data management and analytics, she aided SAS’ leaders and external customers in strengthening their business by strategically transforming their current systems into intelligence-generating solutions using advanced analytics techniques and data management best practices. Jennifer has worked with clients across various industries to find creative designs and solutions to meet their evolving business needs. Jennifer holds Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Textile Engineering as well as a Master’s degree in Advanced Analytics from North Carolina State University.
